Greenville man accused of impersonating SBI agent could face four decades in prison
GREENVILLE, Pitt County - A Greenville man accused of impersonating an SBI agent could spend the next four decades in prison after pleading guilty to four different charges last month.
It's not the first time that 40-year-old Ricky Ball tried to convince people he was a law enforcement officer. Bell has two prior convictions for the same offense.
Ball pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm as a convicted felon, two counts of obstruction of justice and altering a military discharge certificate.
His sentencing hearing will be held at a later date.
