Granger Smith set to play Jacksonville Friday night
Country music artist Granger Smith is set to host a concert at the Tarheel Opry House in Jacksonville Friday night.
The all ages show kicks off with doors opening at 8 p.m. and the Justin West Band and Post Monroe set to open for the country up-and-comer. General admission tickets are still available for $25.
After releasing seven albums independently, Smith really saw his career begin to take off last year with his hit single "Backroad Song," which went to No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay charts. He followed that with the second single from Remington, "If The Boot Fits," which jumped to No. 6 on those same charts.
Smith, who uses the alter ego Earl Dibbles, Jr., is a Texas native and was nominated this year in the Best New Country Artist category at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
