Funeral held for pregnant mom killed
PLYMOUTH, Washington County - A funeral was held Monday for Kendra Jenice Norman, 27, or Roper. She's the pregnant woman found shot and killed at a home in Plymouth, according to the Washington Daily News.
Norman died May 7, 2017. The funeral was held at Shiloh Church of Christ.
Within days of Norman's death, Robert Holley was arrested and charged with murder in the case.
A pregnant woman has been shot and killed in a home in Plymouth, the grandmother of the victim's son confirms to NewsChannel 12.
Police were called around 10 Sunday night to a home in the 300 block of 4th Street in Plymouth. They found Kendra Norman, 27, dead at the scene. The house is owned by Rosa Holley, who says she is the grandmother of the victim's son.
Norman was staying with Holley after being evicted from her own house.
Holley tells NewsChannel 12 she has not been allowed back in the home since the shooting occurred, but said she did learn that one of Norman's other children, a 1 1/2-year-old child, was in the room at the time the shooting happened.
Holley says she heard two shots Sunday night and heard Norman call her name. She rushed into the room and found Norman on the floor.
Holley said Norman has three other children in addition to the toddler who was at the home Sunday night and was pregnant with her fifth.
The State Bureau of Investigation has taken over the lead in the investigation.
