Free college applications give prospective students chance at four-year schools
NEW BERN, Craven County - If one or more of your children is looking to apply to college, this is the week they should do it.
This week is free college application week, according to the Daily Reflector. It began on Monday, November 13, and runs until Friday, November 17, at 5 p.m.
The Reflector reports that 36 four-year colleges are waving their application fees as part of the College Foundation of North Carolina's "College Application Month."
Though none of the University of North Carolina system schools, including ECU, are waiving fees, five historically black colleges and universities are taking part, as well as private school Davidson.
