Four arrested following theft of mower, trailer
BETHEL, Pitt County - Three adults and one minor were arrested last week in connection with the theft of a large mower and trailer, Bethel Police said Monday.
On June 13, a large mower and trailer, valued at $7,000, were stolen, with the theft reported the next day, Bethel PD reported. Following an investigation, four individuals were arrested on various charges last Friday.
William Allen, 18, was charged with felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods. He was issued a $10,000 bond.
Anthony Sneed, 26, was charged with felony larceny and also given a $10,000 bond. Johnny Zachary, a juvenile, was charged with felony larceny as well, though did not have a bond amount listed.
Ruthanne Askew, 21, was charged with resisting a public officer, and was given a $1,000 bond. All three adults were booked into the Pitt County Detention Center.
