Elizabeth City man arrested in Washington breaking and entering
WASHINGTON, Beaufort County - An Elizabeth City man wanted for a breaking and entering in a home in Washington has been arrested and charged.
The incident happened on April 28 at a home on Vadie Lane. A resident discovered her home was broken into with an X Box and two televisions stolen. After receiving a tip on the location of the stolen property and the identity of a suspect in this case, Investigator Jason Hill was able to recover that property.
Hill was also able to identify Joshua James Arnold, 28, of Elizabeth City and charge him with one count each of breaking and entering and one count of larceny after breaking and entering. Arnold was arrested by deputies with the Pasquotank County Sheriff's Office and was held under a $1,000 secured bond.
