ECU Police investigating armed robbery at hospital


GREENVILLE, Pitt County - East Carolina University Police are investigating an armed robbery near Vidant Medical Center in Greenville on Tuesday night.

Police said it happened around 9:30 p.m. in the parking lot around Vidant. Two male suspects, armed with a knife, demanded money from the victims. The two males then fled the scene in a silver Envoy.

Police said the incident does not appear to be random. The victims reported knowing who robbed them.
