Driver involved in July 4 hit& run in Washington turns herself in
WASHINGTON, Beaufort County - The driver involved in a hit and run incident in Washington turned herself into Washington Police.
Teresa Langley, 23, of Greenville, turned herself in Thursday morning. Charges are pending in the incident where Aaron Moore, 22, of Chocowinity was hit by a vehicle on US 17 near the Washington city limits Tuesday night. The NC Highway Patrol was looking for a burgundy PT cruiser. The accident happened around 9 p.m. on July 4.
Moore was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle involved in the crash sustained damage to its front right bumper and passenger side mirror, according to Sgt. Kevin Respass of the NCHP.
