Donations accepted for hurricane victims at Friday's WRH-ED game

BEULAVILLE, Duplin County - Donations of non-perishable food and other items will be accepted on Friday at Legion Stadium in Duplin County before the Wallace-Rose Hill game vs. East Duplin.

The donations are being accepted through a partnership with Wallace-Rose Hill High School and Emerge Ministries. The donations accepted Friday will go to flood victims in Texas from Hurricane Harvey. Donations will be accepted during the game and through Oct. 24.

Donations can be dropped off in the "Emerge Box Truck," which will be near the main gate. Donations accepted include:

Mops, Buckets, Brooms Bleach Spray Bottles Scrub Brushes Baby items (diapers, wipes etc.) Disinfectant Wipes Cleaning Towels Non-Perishable Food (can food, cereal, etc.) Pet Food Damp-Rid Insect Repellant
