Craven County Sheriff's Office busts 10 in connection to drug sale and use

NEW BERN, Craven County - The Craven County Sheriff's Office has arrested 10 individuals as a result on an on-going investigation into the illegal sale and use of narcotics.

Officials said that more arrests will follow.

The following is a list of all the information of those 10 individuals, including their charges:

Edward Earl Harper, 39, of New Bern

Charged with felony trafficking heroin, felony possession with intent sell/deliver heroin, and felony possession with intent sell/deliver fentanyl.

Franklin Jose Menendez, 21, of Vanceboro

Charged with felony possession of heroin on jail premises and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Valerie Murray, 29, of Beaufort

Charged with felony possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting a public officer.

Jasmine Marie McCoo, 17, of Havelock

Charged with felony possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shalaunte Alexis Johnson, 21, of Havelock

Charged with felony possession with intent to sell/deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bridget Anne Beck, 36, of Havelock

Charged with felony possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Greg Leon Brown, 39, of Havelock

Charged with felony possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

James Lamont Pullum, 24, of New Bern

Charged with felony possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, felony possession of stolen motor vehicle, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dwayne Lamont Johnson, 33, of New Bern

Charged with felony possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana, felony maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Ramelo Duane Murriel, 23, of New Bern

Charged with possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
