Car accident leads to drug charges in Pamlico County


REELSBORO, Pamlico County - A reported car crash leads to several drug arrests in Pamlico County

Four people are facing charges after an accident on Highway 55 in Reelsboro. Authorities said all it happened about one mile East of Pinedale food mart.

Connor Hough, Evan Pinnell, Trevor Moody, and Martha Bautista were arrested Thursday night. After responding to the crash, officials said all four were experiencing medical issues relating to drug overdoses. Emergency personnel administered Narcan to all of them and one was taken to the hospital.

Precription medication, drug paraphernalia and other items were found in the vehicle. Each person was charged with possession and intent to sell and deliver drugs.

Later investigators determined that Markese Moore previously sold heroin to the group involved in the accident. He's also facing charges and a $50,000 bond.
