Bullying summit to be held Saturday in La Grange

LA GRANGE, Lenoir County - Lenoir Public Schools is teaming up with regional mental health agency Eastpointe to host a bullying seminar on Saturday at 10 a.m. at E.B. Frink Middle School in La Grange.

Facilitators from Leading to Change will guide the event, which is being planned with the participation of more than 80 middle school students.

LCPS has policies in place regarding bullying, but the summit will give educators feedback on the effectiveness of those policies, while also directly engaging the students themselves.
