Another Martin County man lands big prize in NC Lottery

WILLIAMSTON, Martin County - In less than two weeks, Martin County has had two citizens claim top prizes from the NC Education Lottery.

Seth Manning of Jamesville claimed the last top prize in the Crossword Connect game on Tuesday, winning $150,000. After taxes, Manning will take home $104,253. Last week, Williamston resident Willie Bland claimed a $670,292 Cash 5 jackpot. After taxes, Bland took home $463,006. Manning's good luck happened after he bought the $5 scratch-off ticket at the New Dixie Mart on U.S. 17 in Williamston. He received his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters in Raleigh The game launched in December with three top prizes of $150,000. Since the last top prize has been claimed, the lottery will end the game
