Alorica set to open 100 new positions in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Onslow County - Alorica, the largest provider of customer service solutions to the U.S. market, is announcing that it is opening 100 new positions at its Jacksonville, NC center.

The news will be announced at Alorica's hiring event, which taking place at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 28. The company is looking to fill customer service, team manager, operations manager and talent acquisition recruiter positions.

The type of candidates Alorica is looking for are people-oriented, outgoing and helpful; possibly a bank teller or a sales rep looking for a new challenge, or a stay-at-home mom ready to get back in the workforce. Representatives claim that for Alorica, it's not necessarily the past experience that counts the most, but candidate's ability to connect with others that makes them stand out. Alorica also claims to invest heavily in training and developing its people. 90 percent of this site's supervisors, managers and senior leaders began as Alorica customer engagement experts. Melissa Jarboe, founder and CEO of Military Veteran Project (MVP), will also be in attendance on Thursday. September 28. Her non-profit is a volunteer-led organization that works with veterans in need and raises awareness of PTSD.

Melissa will display the actual boots of the veterans who lost their lives to PTSD, symbolic of the nationwide trend, encouraging the attendees to place a small American flag in each boot to connect closer to the cause. Melissa will be speaking about her foundation and why it is important for the local community to get involved, as well as announcing an exciting new partnership with Alorica.
