Two arrested for trafficking cocaine in Beaufort County
WASHINGTON, N.C. —
Two people were arrested yesterday for trafficking cocaine in Beaufort County.
Officials said the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit arrested Kenneth Earl Deloach, 35, and Malaka Boston, 39, both of 40 Trails End South, on multiple drug charges.
Both Deloach and Boston were charged with trafficking in cocaine, maintaining a dwelling that was used for keeping and selling a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrests came after investigators executed a search warrant at their residence. Officials said investigators found 51 grams of cocaine, digital scales, US Currency and packaging material at the home.
Deloach and Boston were placed in the Beaufort County Detention Center, officials said. Deloach faces a $40,000 secured bond, while Boston faces a $15,000 secured bond.
