Three men have been charged and arrested after being connected to a string of breaking and entering cases in the Bridgeton area of Craven County.

Michael Lee Tomblin, 22, of Olympia Road in New Bern

Bond: $100,000

  • 15 counts of Felony Breaking & Entering Motor Vehicle
  • 3 counts Felony Breaking & Entering Building
  • Felony Larceny After Breaking & Entering
  • 12 counts Larceny
  • Felony Possession Stolen Property
  • Damage to Property

Justin Wade Avery, 27, of Askins Brick Road in Ernul

Bond: $1,000

  • Felony Attempted Obtaining Property by False Pretense
  • Larceny
  • Possession of Stolen Property

Nathan Orr, 25, of Olympia Road in New Bern

Bond: $1,000

  • Felony Attempted Breaking & Entering of a Building
  • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Officials said the crimes occurred along Broad Creek Road, Halfmoon Road, NC 55 Highway East, Jones Farm Road, and Antioch Road. The arrests by the Craven County Sheriff’s Office Investigative Division closes out 19 cases.
