Police search for suspects in auto parts yard break-in

GREENVILLE, Pitt County - Pitt County deputies are seeking the public's help in identifying a pair of individuals who robbed an LKQ auto parts salvage business outside of Greenville early Friday morning.

PCSO spokesman Lt. Kip Gaskins said deputies responded to an alarm at LKQ Pick Your Part, located at 4558 US 13, at 3:25 a.m. on Friday. Deputies found a broken glass door, but there were no reports of any items stolen, though surveillance footage shows the pair attempting to access a safe within the business.

The two suspects, seen in surveillance photos, were believed to be driving a white passenger van away from the scene of the break-in.
