ECU: No students in Manchester during attack

GREENVILLE, Pitt County - East Carolina University said Tuesday morning that none of its students studying abroad in England were in Manchester for the Ariana Grande concert during Monday night's terror attack that claimed the lives of at least 22 people.

The school said it was responding to a number of inquiries about the well-being of its students.

"We have no students or faculty members either studying in Manchester or representing the university," Jon Rezek, executive director of Global Affairs at ECU, said in a release Tuesday.
