Wayne County SO makes arrest after string of burglaries
GOLDSBORO, Wayne County - Following a string of burglaries along NC 111 South and Spring Bank Road, Wayne County Sheriff's Office investigators arrested a Dudley man this week, authorities announced Wednesday.
Jesse Earl Moore, 28, of Dudley, is charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, larceny of motor vehicle, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and driving while license revoked.
He was booked into the Wayne County Detention Center on a $25,500 secured bond.
The arrest follows WCSO surveillance in the area where the break-ins had occurred. Deputies found Moore breaking into a house at 1489 NC 111 South in Goldsboro, and removing items from the home and being placed into a vehicle that was later determined to be stolen.
