Two LaGrange men arrested on drug-related charges in Wayne Co.
GOLDSBORO, Wayne County - The Wayne County Drug Unit arrested two LaGrange men on drug-related charges on June 12.
Christopher Lee Cantrell, 31, and William Aaron White, 31, both of 440 Racetrack Rd. in LaGrange were arrested on Monday. Cantrell was charged with two counts of trafficking meth, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and a count of maintaining a vehicle for the sale of controlled substances. White is charged with one count of possession of heroin and a count of drug paraphernalia. Cantrell was placed in the Wayne County Detention Center under a $307,000 secured bond while White was held on a $3,000 bond. Wayne County Drug Unit officials said in a press release they were contacted by officers with the Coastal Narcotics Task Force. They believe Cantrell was in possession of meth. Officials located Cantrell and found 30 grams of meth on him. A search of Cantrell's residence found a firearm. White was at the residence and was found with a small quantity of heroin. Both were then arrested.
