Two arrested on drug charges in Wayne County
GOLDSBORO, Wayne County - Two people were arrested on various drug charges on Sept. 27 by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office.

As a result of an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit the following persons have been arrested and charged as indicated:
NAME: Gregory Scott Harrison

CHARGE(S): 1 COUNT(S) OF PWIMSD Methamphetamine 1 COUNT(S) OF Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1 COUNT(S) OF Possession of Firearm by Felon

NAME: Mary Olivia Foy
ADDRESS: 1644 NC HWY 55 EAST Mount Olive NC
DOB: 25 YOA RACE/SEX: W/F
CHARGE(S): 1 COUNT(S) OF PWIMSD Methamphetamine 1 COUNT(S) OF Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1 COUNT(S) OF Felony Possession of Schedule II BOND: $ 5,000.00 Secured Bond

BRIEF NARRATIVE: On Wednesday, September 27, 2017, members of the Wayne County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit were called by Probation and Parole in reference to assisting them in a search of a residence on Smith Logging Lane in Goldsboro. During the course of the search Crystal Methamphetamine was located on both the above listed suspects, along with package materials and a digital scale. A firearm was also found inside the residence during the search. Foy who was an absconder from probation and Harrison who was on post release were arrested for the above listed charges and taken in front of the Magistrate where Foy was given a $5,000 secured bond and Harrison was given a $10,000 secured bond and placed in the Wayne County Jail.
