"Touch A Truck" draws more than 2,100 people

GREENVILLE, Pitt County - The 6th annual "Touch a Truck" event was held today at the Greenville Mall. Organizers said there were 70 trucks of all kinds from local businesses for kids to look at and explore. The most popular were the fire trucks and there was even a helicopter on hand. The event benefit the Junior Women's Association of Greenville. The organization is for women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community. More than 2,100 people attended Saturday's event according to organizers.
