UPDATE: Silver Alert canceled for missing Goldsboro man

RALEIGH - The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Goldsboro man.

Jerry Douglas Wilson was last seen at 700 N. Claiborne St., Apt. A in Goldsboro, where he lives. He is a black male, 53, standing 5-foot-9 and weighing 200 pounds. He has short black hair and brown eyes. It's unknown what he was wearing when he went missing.

Officials with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office believe he may be driving a 2007 burgundy Kia Sorento with a NC license plate DLB-6242. He may be heading to Newburgh, N.Y.
