Reds send Rookie Davis to Triple-A Louisville
CINCINNATI - It was fun while it lasted. Now comes the work to get back to the majors.
Dixon High School graduate Rookie Davis was sent to Triple-A Louisville by the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday. The news was announced on Twitter.

Davis, 24, a rookie right-hander, made the Reds opening-day roster as a starting pitcher. He made five starts in between a stint on the disabled list when he was hit in the arm during a game with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The No. 16 overall prospect in Major League Baseball, Davis had a 1-2 record and a 7.58 ERA with 15 strikeouts and 13 walks.
