Four teens charged in multiple break-ins in Wayne

GOLDSBORO, Wayne County - Four teenagers, one a juvenile, have been arrested and charged in three breaking and entering cases between February and March in Wayne County.

Shvonta Hart, 18, of 2572 New Hope Rd. in LaGrange was arrested along with Tamiria Nachelle Younger, 17 (2629 Rebecca Ln., Kinston), Khadafi Kameek-Montrez Barnes, 17 (2505 State Dr., Kinston) and a 15-year-old. the four were charged in incidents that happened on Feb. 14, March 23 and March 24 in Wayne County.

The first incident happened in the 2300 block of New Hope Road. Officials said entry was made into the home by kicking a side door. An estimated $2,000 in property was taken.

On March 23, a residence in the 1400 block of Parkstown Road was broken into by forcing open a door. An estimated $415 was stolen there. A neighbor witnessed four suspects leaving the scene and one suspect fired a handgun toward the neighbor, striking his home multiple times.

The third incident happened on March 24 at a residence at the 100 block of Old Jason Road. The suspects entered and saw an adult female and child inside. Deputies said the suspects ran and fired a gun.

After an investigation into each case, the four were charged. Two other suspects are wanted but have not been located.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office detective and patrol division, Lenoir County Sheriff's Office LaGrange division and patrol division assisted in the arrests.
