GREENVILLE, Pitt County - Dozens of people protested outside of Sen. Thom Tillis' Greenville office on Wednesday, pushing back against the GOP's effort to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.

Members of Democracy NC and the NC Justice Center made their voices heard about the Senate's proposed overhaul of the health care system commonly known as Obamacare.

Protestor Ruby Harris said the fight over health care is critically important to all Americans.

The Senate has run into roadblocks within its own party - from moderates on one side who say the bill cuts too much to Tea Party favorites and Libertarians who say the bill doesn't cut enough.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) has pushed back the vote on the measure until after the July 4 recess to provide more time to get more members on board or strike some sort of a compromise.
