Breaking News: at least 27 dead, 24 injured in Church Shooting in Texas


SUTHERLAND SPRINGS, TX - Local officials have confirmed that at least 20 people are dead and 30 others were injured in church shooting, according to ABC News.

The Wilson County Sheriff Joe Tackitt confirmed the shooter was taken down and is dead, in a statement to the the Associated Press.

President Trump tweeted about the shooting from Asia.

Fatalities are now reported in a church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Witnesses posted to social media a man walked into a Baptist church and started shooting. A reporter with our sister station in San Antonio says a source is telling her there are multiple fatalities and between 10-20 people have been shot. The shooter has been killed.

Sutherland Springs is about an hour outside of San Antonio.
